York, Nebraska to Sioux City, Iowa

I can't even imagine a pastor who does not smile at the task of performing a baptism.  I am usually right in the front with a great view and a camera in hand.  I love to be a witness.  In this photo big brother and sister looking on is so sweet.

Pastor Russ Senstad hosted Dave and I at Redeemer in Sioux City.  Pastor Russ plays guitar and prior to our Sunday evening concert, he entertained us with a few of his original works.
I am humbled and jazzed at how the Lord brings new people into our lives and gives us the opportunity to get to know them and the gifts our Father showers upon them.  Each part of the body of Christ we visit is involved with some sort of ministry because the Lord has led them to step out in faith.  Redeemer Lutheran has many people gifted in areas of serving meals!  The Lord has grown that ministry in the past few years making it possible for them to help the Kingdom in other ways. Members talked with wonder how different ministries have grown, "we just serve food and the Lord moves hearts."
